Description
The Director of Campaign Operations is responsible for seamless execution of omnichannel direct response marketing campaigns at Allegiance Group + Pursuant. This role plays a critical function in managing the end-to-end process of campaign execution, including ensuring the timely delivery of segmented data for personalized marketing initiatives across multiple platforms. As a senior leader, the Director will guide cross-functional teams, optimize operational processes, and drive performance through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all campaign production responsibilities for personal portfolio of clients.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and performance tracking of marketing campaigns across digital, direct mail, telemarketing, and other channels. Ensure the seamless coordination and timely delivery of segmented audience data to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Enable integrated omnichannel communications by overseeing the management and synchronization of customer data across all marketing channels (email, social media, direct mail, etc.). Ensure all campaign data is processed, segmented, and delivered on time to facilitate personalized, targeted marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with Audience, Advertising and Analytics teams to refine data utilization strategies to enhance the accuracy and impact of marketing campaigns.
- Monitor operational tools (e.g., CRM systems, marketing automation platforms) through partnership with Data Solutions team to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting.
- Coordinate efforts between Client Experience team and external vendor teams to streamline campaign workflows. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure campaigns align with broader business objectives and are executed with precision.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Campaign Data Managers and Audience Specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and refine campaign processes to ensure scalability and efficiency. Implement best practices to improve the speed, accuracy, and quality of campaign execution.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years in direct response marketing with at least 5 years in campaign operations. Experience in nonprofit fundraising campaigns is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in managing large datasets using SQL or other database management tools.
- Strong understanding of CRM, database management, and performance analytics tools. Familiarity of campaign management tools such as BCC Mail Manager or FlexMail and marketing automation technologies such as Adobe Campaign or Eloqua.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, including campaign strategists, data analysts, and technical resources, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
