Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive capital markets strategy that aligns with the company's overall strategic goals.
2. Manage and oversee all capital market activities including debt and equity financing, securitization, and other structured finance transactions.
3. Lead the negotiation and execution of complex transactions and agreements with various financial institutions.
4. Evaluate and manage the company's capital structure, ensuring optimal balance between debt and equity.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and rating agencies.
6. Oversee the underwriting and due diligence process for all capital market transactions.
7. Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
8. Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior management.
9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
10. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role within capital markets or a related field.
2. Proven track record of successful capital market transactions, including debt and equity financing.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial real estate, underwriting, cash flow analysis, and asset management.
4. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound strategic decisions.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
7. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to capital markets.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
10. CFA or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
11. Bilingual (Chinese/English) speakers are strongly preferred
