We are currently seeking a Conference Services Director for one of our prestigious resorts in Sedona, AZ. The main duties of the Conference Services Director are to oversee the daily operations of the Catering/Conference Services department, ensure adherence to budget while maintaining high quality products and service levels, and develop strategies to maximize revenues.
Responsibilities include:
- Maximizing revenues and profit by selling public space, food & beverage, and services of the Sedona, AZ resort.
- Working closely with the Sales and Banquet departments to develop new events and ensure repeat bookings.
- Coordinating and facilitating pre-conference meetings and maintaining meeting room sets and capabilities.
- Act as a liaison between the client and operational departments, ensuring successful meetings, and generating repeat business.
- Developing forward-looking strategies for the resort to increase business in Sedona, AZ.
- Supervising the Catering/Conference Services Manager and Coordinator.

Qualifications for the Conference Services Director role:
- A College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years management experience as a director or manager.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work extremely flexible hours.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications (Word, Excel) and Delphi experience preferred.
