SUMMARY
The Director of Clinical Services has a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of our Clinical Services department. This position will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure seamless coordination of provider schedules, staffing, and overall performance. The Director of Clinical Services is a trained professional who is responsible for oversight of organizing, implementing, and directing the clinical related departments within our company. The Director of Clinical Services ensures staff achieve the daily goals and overall mission of the company. The Director of Clinical Services will ensure that their staff complies with the company’s policies, systems, and agendas. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for ensuring the departments remain in compliance with AHCA, CMS, Medicaid, OSHA, and the Department of Health. In addition, the role is responsible for providing fiscal management including analysis, forecasting, and budgetary responsibilities by aligning metrics and revenue cycle performance through their recommendations and implementation of strategies for improvement and growth within assigned departments.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or 5 years equivalent experience required
• 3 years' healthcare experience of evaluating, onboarding, training, supervising, leading, and motivating employees
• Up to date knowledge of CMS, Department of Health, AHCA, OSHA, and Medicaid
• Extensive knowledge in Microsoft products
• Proven ability to develop and execute new programs and departments
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Good computer and electronic record skills
• Excellent managerial and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making
• Outstanding time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Background in medical billing preferred
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Live the mission and vision
• Direct oversight of Managers and Providers
• Analyze performance reports from each manager to ensure company goals are achieved
• Ensure compliance within departments and company
• Work closely with other Directors to ensure operations and departments are functioning within the company policies and procedures
• Recruiting and managing assigned managers and departments
• Delegate tasks to administrative staff and monitor daily operation
• Developing and promoting policies that ensure positive interaction between administrative staff and providers
• Oversee, create and assist with the development of a department including policies and SOP’s for Medicare GUIDE program
• Oversee the credentialing in facilities and ensure credentials are kept up to date
• Monitor and ensure compliance with licenses and certification requirements for providers and staff
• Ensure regular audits are completed on notes to ensure compliance with insurance regulations
• Oversee the specialty programs and departments and monitor day to day operations
• Develop and implement effective provider scheduling strategies to optimize patient access and provider productivity
• Oversee the management of provider time-off requests (PTO) to ensure adequate coverage and minimize disruptions to patient care
