Position Overview:
Trusted Staffe seeks a dedicated Director of Emergency Trauma Services to join our partner, a medical facility in Modesto, CA. This role involves leading and managing the emergency trauma services department to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Patient Care Services is a professional registered nurse responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing care provided by a designated healthcare team. The Department Director holds twenty-four-hour responsibility for the unit's standards, staff, leadership, decision-making, fiscal guidelines, and departmental relationships. The Department Director fosters a supportive, professional environment among physicians, staff, and patients and is dedicated to Performance Improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent
Minimum Experience/Skills:
- Three to five years of management experience
License/Certificates/Credentials:
- Current Registered Nursing license for the state of California
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
- Ability to lift, position, and push up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity and mobility
Vision Requirements:
- Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities
