Director of Finance and Operations - $120,000 to $140,000 plus bonus

This role will report directly to the Owners of the business - who are incredibly enthusiastic about their company's future and are eager to identify a strategic Financial and Operational leader for the Director of Finance and Operations role.

responsibilities:
- The Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for reviewing business functions, planning changes, and looking for ways to improve quality, productivity, and profitability.
- The Director of Finance and Operations will oversee financial operations, budget development, implementation, and executing the business strategy.
- While Ownership will establish many of the longer term goals for the company, the Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for implementing the company's strategies into daily operations to meet the long term goals and objectives.
- The Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for spearheading new initiatives and leading the growth of the company.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of strategic financial / accounting leadership experience - preferably in a Controller to CFO role for a small to mid sized privately owned company in the professional services industry.
- CPA and / or prior experience in public accounting is strongly preferred.
- An ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication qualities.
- The candidate should have a deep understanding of the operational aspects of a business - including finance, HR, marketing, and operations.
- Candidates should have an entrepreneurial mindset, be willing to take calculated risks, and have a passion for building and growing businesses.
