We are seeking an experienced financial planning professional who can lead our team of staff financial planners, paraplanners, and senior account administrators to serve our clients and advisor teams in addition to serving one advisor team through exceptional financial planning services for their clients. You will play a key role in streamlining and creating operational processes.
This position is exempt and reports to our Branch Manager. The annual salary for this position ranges from 75-90k. We plan for this position to be located in one of the following branch offices: Manhattan KS, Chicago, Overland Park KS, or Lawrence KS.

We are seeking an experienced financial planning professional who can lead our team of staff financial planners, paraplanners, and senior account administrators to serve our clients and advisor teams in addition to serving one advisor team through exceptional financial planning services for their clients. Key responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Leadership, management, and accountability of staff Financial Planners and Senior Account Administrators.
- Stay up to date with regulation changes and apply these to training and processes.
- Own oversight of Prudent Process annual client review compliance across advisors.
- Oversee and deliver training and ongoing support on all financial planning related software used throughout Keating.
- Participate in client conversations upon request from an Advisor.
- Service a maximum of one financial advisor with high-quality support in a financial planning capacity.
- Deliver financial planning onboarding and training for all financial planners, including those designated as Team Advisors and new to the business Producing Advisors.
- Create financial planning presentation templates.
- Other duties as assigned.
- CFP®
- IAR licensed (Series 65) preferred
- Experienced with any of the following: Right Capital, eMoney, or Raymond James Goal Planning & Monitoring
- Life/health/variable insurance licenses are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, business, or a related field
- Experience with an independent RIA preferred
- Great with client-facing relational skills, with the skill of a teacher to clients
- Ability to lead others in providing a high level of customer service and focuses on developing solutions
- Establish and maintain a respected position of leadership from which to influence, motivate and coach others to achieve desired outcomes. Previous successful management experience is preferred.
- Familiar with investment philosophies and able to incorporate this into planning recommendations
- Lifelong, curious learner with the ability to adapt approaches with changes in industry regulations and system capabilities.
