Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing Facility
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities:
- The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, medication administration, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Oversee and coordinate care provided by licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and document findings accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to promote a positive care environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with previous experience in skilled nursing preferred.
- Director of Nursing (DON) experience is a plus.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Availability for occasional weekend coverage and willingness to be on-call as needed.
