Director of Nursing
Gold Crest Care Center is actively hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Pelham Gardens area of the Bronx, NY. We are seeking an experienced DON to oversee all aspects the facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care. Extensive clinical experience, prior DOH experience and training in both nursing and administration is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation for the nursing department.
- Have a proven track record, and be familiar with DOH surveys and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in NY
- Prior DON experience in long-term care.
- Strong clinical knowledge and exceptional communication skills.
