We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to join our team and lead our operational excellence in People Management, Strategy, and Business Operations.
The Director of Operations will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our firm’s operational strategies and objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in operational management and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, operational expertise, and financial acumen, contributing to the overall growth and efficiency of the organization.
As a trusted advisor, the Director of Operations will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to assess operations, establish systems and frameworks to drive organizational effectiveness, and enhance alignment between corporate operations and client delivery teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
People Management:
· Oversee the recruiting and talent management function for the company. Coach and mentor talent team and identify operational efficiencies to improve the recruiting function.
· Manage the performance management processes to enable goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual performance reviews.
· Implement and refine talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
· Develop and execute employee training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
· Develop career paths, job classifications, and performance criteria for each position category.
· Conduct compensation studies and research to evaluate compensation of current workforce and develop strategies to attract new talent.
· Optimize the Employee experience and implement initiatives to enhance employee relations.
· Manage the contract and relationship with the outsourced Human Resources and Payroll function (PEO).
· Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
· Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts to maintain a productive workplace.
Strategy Development:
· Provide oversight of initiatives that are strategic to the Firms growth, scalability, and sustainability of operations. Actively participate in the strategic planning and prioritization process to identify and execute high-value initiatives.
· Lead the annual updates to the Strategic Plan, Key Measures, and monitor quarterly updates.
· Under the direction of the executive leadership team, develop processes for oversight of staff execution to include establishing systems, structures, and KPIs to monitor progress.
· Establish and assess market and revenue data to identify trends and develop strategies to expand revenues or improve margins.
· Coordinate with executive leadership and client delivery teams to monitor customer success, drive revenue growth, and expand market permissions.
· Assist the executive leadership in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization.
· Oversight of Strategic “Hubs” to enable knowledge management, cross-team collaboration, competency development, and thought leadership.
· Oversight of prioritization and execution of strategic initiatives across the Firm. Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to align Firm goals with the overall strategy.
· Drive strategic initiatives and projects to optimize business processes and enhance service delivery.
Financial Support:
· Lead periodic Project Reviews to assess overall project health and provide oversight on contract compliance, delivery quality and financial health.
· Lead the pricing of proposal submittals to include researching competitor pricing, working with proposal teams on developing Level of Effort (LOE) estimates, and developing the pricing volume for submittal.
· Working with the Controller to forecast team member utilization, resource capacity, overhead charges, bench management, and next assignments.
Operations:
· Oversight of day-to-day administrative operations to ensure efficiency as determined by executive leadership team.
· Oversee the development and implementation of IT strategies.
· Support the Firm’s effort to maintain security and integrity of the company’s data and IT infrastructure.
· Manage the company’s outsourced technology support vendor
· Develop processed and provide oversight on software licenses. Maintain company standards and work with technology support vendor to manage company-wide licenses.
· Be the main contact for company contracts to include Client Consulting Contracts, Subcontractor Agreements, Employment Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements. Work with partner attorneys as needed.
· Provide oversight and leadership in managing Large Supplier Contracts. Prepare for renewals, optimize costs, and negotiate favorable contracts for the company
· Be the Registered Agent Representative on behalf of the company. Work with contracted registered agent(s) and monitor contract and performance.
· Manage all company facility agreements and negotiate contracts as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
· Proven experience (7+ years) in an operational leadership role, preferably within a technology consulting or related industry.
· Strong understanding of people management, business operations, and financial principles.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
· Experience with performance management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
· Proficiency in operational and financial management software/tools.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Information Technology or a related field.

Other:
· US Citizenship preferred
· Currently holds a US Security Clearance or has the ability to obtain clearance
· Willingness to Travel, as needed to support company needs.
