Description
The Director of Operations is responsible for successfully managing and operating a variety of designated services in coordination with Temple Women & Families hospital leadership. Will lead all functions and activities under areas of responsibility. Coordinates and manages varied activities to achieve hospital and organizational goals. Demonstrates a system- wide perspective on new initiatives while ensuring the highest quality of patient services, cost effectiveness through efficacious resource allocation and efficient and responsive flow of patients, information and materials. Influences the strategic direction of the hospital based on the analysis of current operations, anticipated needs and innovative approaches to the care delivery model. Drives process improvement and continuously looks for opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize operations. Makes recommendations for new initiatives to senior leadership.
Education
Bachelors Degree: Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business or related field (Required)
Masters Degree: Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business or related field (Preferred)
Experience
5 Years experience in healthcare management or practice management (Required)
Progressively challenging managerial experience in an organization/division of comparable scope and complexity (Required)
