Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Director of Parts- Midwest based out of our Orland Park, IL location. This role will report to the Regional Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure parts policy conformance / SOX Compliance
- Recommend & assist in creating and implementing any Parts Dept policy changes and/or additions
- Assist with any CE audit requirements
- Monitor Parts KPIs and work with branches on shortfalls
- Work with accounting to identify and correct any financial reporting errors
- Assist with onboarding & training of new acquisitions or new branch locations
- Work with OEMs to resolve any corporate issues
- Ensure all OEM return windows are met
- Run monthly meeting with Regional/General/Director of parts (I will take this one over)
- Run monthly meeting with Parts leads for MI
- Resolve inter-departmental conflicts related to Parts
- Work with VP of Parts Ops to recommend/test/implement any changes in ERP
- Create and disseminate BI reports
- Represent Parts Dept in corporate meetings
- When asked - assist with interviews or existing employee evaluations
- Work with Ops managers on any branch specific issues
- Disseminate and implement any changes directed by VP of Parts Ops
- Resolve ERP support issues
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Assist with defining and achieving sales goals, budgets, and margin targets.
- Assist with the organization, optimization, and inventory accuracy of all parts.
- Responsible for recommending pricing and gross margin of parts.
- Responsible for Weekly and Monthly KPI development and review
- Standard work and process improvement
- Work with Warranty and Operations to ensure we have the proper parts fulfillment lead times.
- Work with Procurement and Operations to ensure parts are delivered and stocked at appropriate levels.
- Maintain inventory accuracy.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and people skills
- An adaptive and problem-solving attitude
- Order processing / data entry skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 5+ years' experience in a leadership role
- Customer service experience
- Computer experience.
