About the Job
Alera is a forward-thinking financial services firm dedicated to providing comprehensive retirement plan services. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Retirement Advisor Services to work closely with Retirement Plan Services Practice Leader as well as collaborate with the financial services leaders across operations, shared services and compliance as an integral part of growing the Retirement Plan Services business.
Responsibilities:Data Analytics
- RPAG Program Management: Oversee the integration of new business data into the RPAG platform, including quarterly fee analysis and record keeper data collection.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze data across our technology stack to identify best practices, operational efficiencies, and opportunities for optimal pricing execution.
- Objective: Utilize data analytics to enhance operational effectiveness and support informed decision-making.
Vendor Management
- Tech Stack Oversight: Manage vendor relationships across the technology stack (e.g., RPAG, Fiduciary Rx, Venrollment) to ensure optimal execution and performance.
- Advisor Support: Provide training and support to advisors on vendor tools and processes.
- Objective: Drive better vendor management.
Investment Assistance
- Data Collection: Assist the Director of Investments with investment data collection and intelligence gathering.
- Objective: Support investment committee with accurate and timely data to inform decision-making.
Financial Wellness Assistance
- Support Initiatives: Work with the Director of Financial Wellness to promote financial wellness initiatives, collaborating with wealth, insurance, and voluntary benefits teams.
- Objective: Enhance the firm's financial wellness offerings and engagement.
Marketing
- Collateral Production: Assist in creating and promoting marketing materials aimed at accelerating sales velocity.
- Objective: Enhance marketing efforts to strengthen internal collaboration and help drive revenue growth.
RFP Support
- Support: Provide support in preparing and managing Request for Proposals (RFPs) to attract new business.
- Objective: Contribute to the firm's business development efforts through effective RFP management.
Client Service Support
- Standardization: Work to standardize the client service experience, improving client retention through consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Objective: Enhance client satisfaction and retention by optimizing service standards.
Scorecard Management
- Reporting: Collaborate with the RPS/WS finance team to produce quarterly reports on sales performance metrics and financial projections.
- Objective: Provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making and performance improvements.
- Education:
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in financial services, specifically supporting Retirement Plan Services.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of Retirement Plan Services, including applicable rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with advisors and clients.
- Proven ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
