What You’ll Do:Blain Supply is currently seeking a candidate for the Inventory Control team at our Distribution Center in Janesville. Inventory Control associates are responsible for performing cycle counts of merchandise in the warehouse. Additional duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform cycle counts at product locations using a handheld scanner
- Conduct pallet checks/audits
- Transfer product from pallet to pallet to be scanned.
- Problem solve errors and discrepancies
- Obtain and disperse mail to trucks and shipping docks.
- Operate a variety of powered warehouse equipment such as order selector and forklift.
- Cross-train to understand and assist in several areas of the distribution center.
- Communicate daily with a variety of associates and leaders from all DC departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and safely operate a variety of warehouse lifts and motorized product-moving equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math skills
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs
- Occationally lifting up to 50 lbs
