About the Job
We are seeking a DISTRICT Manager for a chicken or pizza concept. The DM will be responsible for supervising store managers, activities, and operations for multiple quick service restaurants. The DM will be responsible for successful implementation of initiatives and programs, achieving or exceeding all established financial sales and profitability plans, as well as all banking, facility, and administrative responsibilities. The DM will report directly to the franchise owner.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Recruits, interviews and hires management staff. Assists store managers with crew member recruiting. Administers hiring paperwork on time.
- Works with store managers to ensure all employees are trained in the modules from the All Star Training Program required for their position. Works with store managers to develop employees by coaching, counseling, and building strong work habits. Must have ability to supervise others.
- Works with store managers to prepare weekly schedule for staff.
- Works with store managers to place product orders. Works with store managers to manage food costs and reduce waste.
- Completes performance reviews for store management. Works with store managers to manage, train, and develop staff. Records performance counseling and discipline.
- Maintains all company operations standards and compliance as outlined in the Operating Standards Manual and the Product Procedures and Systems Manual. Submits all invoices within period of service.
- Works with store managers to deliver consistent, high quality products daily, every shift. Ensures guest satisfaction.
- Understands, enforces, and adheres to all company policies and procedures Employee Handbooks.
- Understands POS, computer and other technological equipment used in the restaurant.
- Analyzes profit and loss statements. Meets established sales plan for each unit. Works with store managers to maintain and records inventory accurately.
- Works with store managers to ensure clean facilities at all times. Enforces appropriate dress and uniforms of all team members.
Qualifications required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- College classes or degree preferred.
- At least five years of food and beverage management experience required. Management of multiple units preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card.
- Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish a big plus.
- Excellent leaderships skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets.
- Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
