Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Topline Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategic sales plans with the Director of Operations to drive topline sales growth across the district.
- Hire and Develop Managers: Recruit, onboard, and develop high-caliber sales managers, empowering them to lead their teams effectively and achieve sales targets.
- Coaching and Development: Coach, mentor, and motivate managers to improve their team's selling skills, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, providing actionable insights and feedback during onsite visits to enhance individual and team performance.
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize the district's sales budget to maximize resources and drive profitability.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management and the business owner.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of retail or hospitality management experience, with at least 3 to 5 years managing multiple freestanding store locations with broad geographic scope.
- Demonstrated success in achieving selling and operational excellence by hiring, leading, motivating, and developing effective Store Managers and Associates.
- Outstanding ability to encourage and develop others – must have strong interpersonal skills and lead by modeling servant leadership.
- Proven ability to create an open and positive work environment.
- Highly resourceful, flexible, and able to solve problems promptly. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, especially when communicating from a distance.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently while functioning cooperatively as a team member.
- Demonstrate an openness to feedback for personal and professional growth.
- Strong planning, time management, and organization skills.
- A strong eye for detail and operational excellence.
- Ability to transfer shared vision into alignment and execution.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
