A leading distributor of building materials is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive sales growth, increase market share and profitability, and enhance sales efficiencies across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Outside Sales Representatives, overseeing their performance, setting sales quotas, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Outside Sales Representatives, setting and monitoring sales quotas.
- Improve overall sales performance, increase market share, and drive profitability across branches.
- Implement strategies to enhance sales efficiencies and improve customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with upper management, staff, and clients at all levels.
- Introduce new ideas and strategies to strengthen the company's market position.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales management experience in building materials distribution.
- Track record of managing and motivating a successful sales team.
- Strong ability to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
- Innovative mindset, capable of contributing new ideas to enhance the company's success.
- Bachelors degree preferred, but relevant experience is highly valued.
