Quality Control Associate - Building Materials

Location: Wilsonville

Our client in Wilsonville is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Associate for their building materials company
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control within a manufacturing or production environment, with a keen eye for detail and strong verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual inspections on all doors to ensure there are no protruding nails, staples, scrapes, or physical dings and dents.
• Verify product numbers to ensure SKUs match purchase orders.
• Check that hinges are the correct color and properly installed.
• Ensure all door components are present before final QC and shipment to customers.
• Confirm pallet and packing requirements are met for shipment.
• Monitor products on the production line, pausing as necessary to address quality concerns.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high product quality standards.
• Utilize a computer for data entry into the warehouse management system.

Skills and Qualities:

• Exceptional attention to detail, especially when working with multiple SKU numbers.
• Ability to identify defects on finished products.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Accountable and receptive to directions and suggestions from management and team members.
• Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work overtime when needed.
• Proficient in using and reading a tape measure.
• Experience operating a forklift or willingness to be trained and certified.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $19.50-$21.00/hr DOE
