Shift -1 First Shift
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Position Type: Full -Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Summary:
The Driver (Non CDL)/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. This associate will assist with all warehouse functions as well as the loading and unloading of trucks.
Responsibilities:
Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms and completes minor maintenance if needed.
Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Division Manager in a timely manner.
Performs shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and documentation.
Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges when specified.
Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy.
Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
Reports any issues to the Division Manager that were discovered at the job site.
Qualifications:
Three years of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission or similar vehicle), required.
Ability to meet all DOT regulations in order to receive and maintain a med card, required.
Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out back of the vehicle.
