Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for drywall projects, including materials, labor, and timeframes
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
• Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information and assess project scope
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all costs are accounted for
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and other project documentation
• Manage bid process from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize project costs while maintaining quality
• Analyze costs for materials, labor, and production times, providing regular updates to management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating, preferably within the drywall or construction industry
• Strong understanding of drywall systems, materials, and construction processes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, blueprints, and specifications
• Excellent math and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Experience with commercial and/or residential drywall projects
