PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) was developed to answer the many problems around caring for frail seniors. The PACE model is centered on the belief that it is better for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families to be served in their community whenever possible.

Seniors, their family members, and caregivers face many issues, including transportation to appointments, management of medications, coordination of medical care from different specialists, lack of social interaction, and ability to stay alone at home. On Lok PACE participants receive in home care services and transportation to a On Lok PACE center for primary medical care, social and recreational activities, and other senior care services.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Enterprise Application Training Specialist 2 works with the EA team to provide training on all EA platforms. These platforms include Epic Ambulatory, Box, Slack, Zoom, and the EBS system. Continually assess and meet the educational needs of users, including but not limited to, medical staff, clinical staff, admin. staff and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing EA user education and development training programs, integrated throughout On Lok's directly operated centers and related service departments.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, update, and enhance EA and business system training documentation, including curricula, training scripts, objectives, handouts, quick reference guides, tests, proficiency assessments, lab scenarios and post-training support materials and evaluations.
• Partner with managers and supervisors to ensure implementation opportunities and training goals are met (i.e., orientation, in-services, competency monitoring, and regular user training).
• Understand and consider different cultural sensitivities and relative experience levels of staff when planning training sessions/modules and anticipate the impact upon implementation.
• Participate in organizational program development committees.
• Incorporate compliance with PACE, state, local and federal rules, regulations, and laws applicable in their trainings.
• Maintain excellent documentation and communication of progress on all projects.
• Continuously improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and delivery of the teaching and assessment of learning for users.
• Understand the philosophy of continuous learning and be highly motivated towards the ongoing provision of quality learning for internal and external users.

QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills, abilities):

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Education or Healthcare. Education and relevant experience may be combined to meet minimum requirement.
• 4-7 years experience in developing training curriculum and providing training in a healthcare setting, both in-person and virtual.
• Possess experience in instructing, communicating with, and presenting to individuals of all levels of education and background.
  
• Present a professional image, be diplomatic, have excellent listening skills, a positive approach, be a problem solver, a self-starter, and results oriented.
  
• Detail oriented with the ability to organize and motivate teams, work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, and satisfy deadlines.

Your final compensation offer will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and licenses/certifications. The pay range is expressed as an hourly rate regardless of FLSA status. Exempt positions are paid salaried and are not subject to overtime.
