We are actively seeking an EHS Safety Specialist for multiple Corporate Office locations and a Testing Lab. This position will be based in Racine, WI and support facilities in Racine as well as in Oak Brook & Lombard, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating safety needs and recommending applicable training for each location. You will partner with Site HR to coordinate safety training and execution of building and Testing Lab safety, including organizing and conducting regular safety drills.
Responsibilities:- Designs, develops, implements, and oversees CNH’s Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) programs and procedures to safeguard employees and ensure that all facilities are following regulations.
- Develops recommendations to prevent accident recurrence, promotes safety conscious work performance, and training programs applicable to each location.
- Assists locations in pollution prevention and waste minimization programs through monitoring and technical guidance.
- Partners with Site HR to manage incidents and accidents and preventative actions.
- Conducts assessments, audits, and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards, and regulations.
- Builds and manages EHS&E training programs. Partners with Site HR to ensure safety training is captured in CNHI Learn or other record.
- Travel to other locations in the region is approximately 25%
The annual salary for this role is $63,375 - $92,950 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications:The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 or more years of EHS/Safety experience
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associates degree plus 5 or more years of experience, OR high school diploma/GED plus 7 or more years of experience will be considered
