Description:
- Regular maintenance of clean and sanitary areas for hospital patients and staff
- Spotting necessary cleaning outside of regular maintenance duties
- Gathering and emptying of trash
- Cleaning of spills and smudges across different types of surfaces
- Maintain cleaning supplies
- Must be able to understand and practice safe methods of cleaning supplies
- Must also know best practices of cleaning chemicals
- Must display excellent customer service as patient, family, coworker, and visitor contact will occur while performing duties
- May have to perform other duties as required
- Overall, help contribute to excellent patient experience in hospital
Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in cleaning services preferred
- Compassionate and caring attitude
Phlebotomy Tech I/Courier
Description:
Correctly performs patient identification, venipuncture/capillary collection technique, and specimen labeling
Performs specimen processing functions accurately and efficiently
Correctly performs special phlebotomy procedures
Laboratory Competency and Education Requirements
Compliance with Laboratory Safety Policies & Procedures
Demonstrates adequate knowledge of the hospital and laboratory computer systems
Ability to read at a high school level
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Ability to effectively implement written and oral instructions
Ability to appropriately encounter individuals (patients, visitors, coworkers, medical staff and others) in a variety of situations and circumstances
Current Driver's License with no major citations, able to be covered under AMC auto insurance
Encouraged to become certified by ASCP or a similar qualifying agency (qualification determined by the Administrative Director) after one year of experience at JDAMH
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current Driver's License
Successful completion of in-house training
