About the Job
As a ERP Solutions Architect, you’ll be the technical lead of an engineering team delivering new products and supporting existing products. You’ll lead technical architecture, development activities and set the engineering direction for your team. You’ll be responsible for developing junior engineers and guiding them to deliver high-quality products. You’ll also work with peers in product and customer success to ensure your team delivers world-class products for our customers and continually raises the bar on all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another US based non-Best Buy Health location.

What you’ll do
- Lead and manage product-focused software agile engineering teams, working together to navigate complex and ambiguous problems
- Use software engineer experience to motivate teams to succeed and deliver exceptional results
- Apply your software engineering experience to drive the team and product forward in areas related to key patterns, risks, engineering enablement techniques, distributed systems knowledge across managed cloud platforms (AWS) and testing approaches
- Lead a group of engineers tasked with implementing a cutting-edge finance software solution
- Help keep your team members confident as they deliver high quality work to production at a regular, predictable and sustainable cadence
Basic qualifications
- 5 years of relevant professional experience
- 1 year of experience managing and leading engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in enterprise resource planning implementations or maintenance such as Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations
- 2 years of experience leading engineering teams from an architecture perspective
- 2 years of experience working with and gathering feedback from product users
- 2 years of experience leading junior engineers on architecture designs
- 2 years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with functions outside of engineering such as product, finance, controllership and tax
- Strong business and technical communication skills
- Experience managing remote teams from varied cultures
