EVENT ASSISTANT - Full Time/ Paid Training - OED Solutions

The Entry Level Event Marketing Assistant is a vital member of our marketing and advertising department. This entry-level position starts with comprehensive training, providing a solid foundation in basic marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional techniques, visual merchandising, and consumer market research. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will have the opportunity to advance to a team lead role within the marketing department, reporting directly to the Executive Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily growth and development of assigned marketing campaigns.
• Support customer acquisition and retention efforts.
• Manage the needs of external customers with professionalism.
• Develop strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Drive sales through engaging retail promotional campaigns.
• Build brand recognition through local events and experiential marketing initiatives.
• Interact with customers to enhance their experience and gather feedback.
• Problem-solve and make informed professional judgments to improve processes.

Requirements:

• Ability to work full-time hours, including some weekends for special events.
• Capable of excelling in both independent assignments and collaborative team projects.
• Willingness to travel 1 to 2 weeks a year for additional training.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• A 2 or 4-year college degree in a related field is preferred.
• A self-starter with a creative mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
