As part of our Early Learning Team, you will help create a warm, caring, and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and their families, while implementing age-appropriate curriculum. On a regular day you will develop and lead classroom activities, engage children in play-based learning throughout the centers creative learning spaces, and assist each child to mature cognitively and develop social skills as they interact with one another. We have invested in providing teachers with access to resources like Kaymbu, a leading software designed for curriculum, developmental assessments and efficient communication with families. At the Y, children participate in regular enrichment programming including swimming, sports, and gymnastics! We provide quality and essential care inside and outside of the classroom while meeting state standards and maintaining the health and safety of the participants in our program.

Qualifications

- Must be 18 years or older with high school diploma or equivalent minimum education.
- PS Certification/Qualifications through EEC or willing to obtain.
- For the sign on bonus, you will receive $500 after 60 days and you will receive another $500 after 6 months of employment if you are EEC certified.
- We are looking for to fill an afternoon shift.
