Your Role as an Echo Technician:
- Perform Echocardiograms: Conduct comprehensive echocardiographic examinations using advanced ultrasound technology.
- Patient Care: Interact with patients compassionately, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to ensure a comfortable and positive experience.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret echocardiogram results, accurately documenting findings in the patient's medical record.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of image quality and participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest advancements in echocardiography.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
