Echocardiographer (Echo Tech)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated Echocardiographer (Echo Tech) to join our partner medical group in Baltimore, MD. This role offers the opportunity to perform diagnostic echocardiographic ultrasound imaging and measurements on a diverse range of patients, from neonates to geriatric populations. Additionally, you will support advanced procedures like TAVR, LAAO, and TEE.

Position Summary:

As an Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing various echocardiographic examinations to aid in diagnosing and managing cardiac conditions. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiographic ultrasound imaging procedures for patients of all ages.
• Acquire and analyze sonographic images and measurements.
• Provide support during TAVR, LAAO, and TEE procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures and findings.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech.
• Certifications:
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification

Additional Details:

• Shift: 3 * 12-hour shifts from Saturday through Monday
• Sign-on Bonus Potential: Up to $15,000
