Electrical Engineer - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a leading Architecture and Engineering Firm to find an Electrical Engineer to join the firms growing team in Downtown NYC.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills. This role involves working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed electrical designs for service upgrades, including load calculations and system configurations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Develop project scopes and specifications, and communicate requirements to the project team.
• Liaise with local power utility companies to understand their requirements and standards for electrical service upgrades.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for utility approvals and permits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and utility partners.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Electrical Engineer and Design experience
• New York PE License
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
