Our client is a manufacturer of measurement and control instrumentation. This organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k – $110k
Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting existing product lines in addition to developing new products. The Electrical Engineer must have knowledge and experience with circuit boards, circuit design, ICs, and hardware design. The Electrical Engineer will work onsite full-time.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
- Gain a thorough grasp of existing technologies and product offerings.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to gain insight into the customer’s operational environment and requirements.
- Contribute individually or as part of a team to create new or modified products, including managing hardware and firmware design aspects . Teams will consist of internal cross-functional members, as well as collaborators.
- Act as a Project Engineer for both new and ongoing development projects, ensuring that all tasks necessary for a successful product launch are completed on schedule.
- Produce technical documentation for new products and engineering processes, including test plans, reports, and design documents to assist with production and supplier coordination.
- Work with Customer Service to analyze and resolve customer issues by identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing department to identify and sustain the best vendors for our requirements.
Qualifications for the Electrical Engineer:
- 2 – 3 years experience as an electrical engineer.
- Strong experience with hardware design and circuit board layout.
- Experience with design tools.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
