Electrical Engineer (power & lighting, industrial facilities) - 1st St. NW Technical Staffing

Growing A&E firm has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer on a direct hire basis.

Duties:

• Design electrical building systems for industrial facilities
• Work collaboratively with the design team to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
• Attend design meetings with clients, present project updates, and address requests or concerns
• Design power distribution systems, equipment power, lighting systems, and other electrical components
• Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications in accordance with project scope and electrical engineering principles
• Create project plans and schedules
• Review and approve drawings for compliance with regulations
• Oversee ARC Flash Studies and external engineering subcontractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• 2+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial and industrial facility construction projects
• AutoCAD experience a plus
• EIT or PE registration a plus
