Electrical Estimator - Commercial & Industrial Construction (Up to $10M Projects)

One of our top clients is seeking a motivated Electrical Estimator to join our pre-construction team. You will play a key role in securing and estimating commercial and industrial construction projects valued up to $10 million.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine electrical system requirements.
- Quantify materials, labor, and equipment needs for each project.
- Negotiate competitive quotes from electrical subcontractors and material suppliers.
- Develop and maintain electrical cost databases.
- Assist with the creation of conceptual budgets and project proposals.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings with project teams and clients.
- Stay current on the latest electrical codes and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant building codes for both commercial and industrial applications.
- Proficiency in electrical construction materials, methods, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and estimating software (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
