Job Details
SUMMARY:
You will oversee new products into production, train production staff, work with customers to help bring products to production, monitor process, and more.
MUST HAVES:
- Create work instructions technical documents.
- Troubleshoot electronics to the component level.
- ITAR Compliant .
NICE TO HAVES:
- Software writing (Python, LabVIEW) .
- SolidWorks or related programs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement and streamline manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures
- Assist with continuous improvement 6-Sigma activities
- Assist in plant layout changes to improve flow and minimize waste
- Apply advanced knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering/design field
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- May lead and direct the work of others
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in an Electronics environment
- Ability to successfully troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level
- Software programming in LabVIEW, C++, C, Visual Studio, Python (plus)
