Structural Drafter (Entry Level) Telecom, AutoCAD, Word, Excel - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00828
Hourly Pay: $20.00 - $22.00/HR
A local consulting engineering firm is seeking to hire an Entry Level Telecom Structural Drafter to will create design documents in accordance with design specifications supplied by the design engineer. The design documents will be focused on required modifications to telecommunication towers, mounting systems, rooftop installations, water tanks, and buildings to accommodate the addition of wireless antennas and other equipment. Responsibilities will include maintaining project timelines, effective communication with the design engineer and management on project status, and developing design documents that properly communicate design intent.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpreting design parameters and criteria provided by the design engineer.
- Upholding, developing, and refining internal CAD techniques and tools.
- Adhere to applicable Quality Control procedures.
- Develop structural drawings and reinforcement details for wireless structures.
- Provide accurate project status reporting to facilitate accurate customer reporting.
- Familiarize with structural standards and codes for utilization into design documents.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
