Electrical Service Manager - OTC Industrial Technologies

Keller Electrical is looking for an Electrical Service Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ!

As an Electrical Service Manager you will be responsible for providing unmatched customer experiences and demonstrate a positive culture, safety first attitude, relationship building, and create revenue growth and profitability.

What You'll Do:

• Division Leader with P&L responsibility for Electrical Service Department.
• Coordinate and monitor daily manpower and equipment needs, and workload efficiencies of service teams.
• Meet with customers to review projects and conduct job walks.
• Coordinate meetings with owners, utilities, engineering and subcontractors.
• Review construction plans, create budgets, scope of work documents and other contractual documentation for work.
• Constantly monitor and report on department productivity and backlog.
• Drive profitability of company with professional, high quality installation, service and repairs that meet or exceed original equipment specifications, while meeting service and overall company objectives.
• Work with Keller management, and Human Resources, in lifecycle of employees, from recruitment to separation.
• Provide leadership and employee development opportunities (on-the-job, EASA classes, correspondence courses or any other educational opportunities approved by management).
• Responsible for annual performance evaluations for all direct reports and performance improvement plans as needed.
• Coordinate and run daily/weekly production and toolbox meetings.
• Coordinate repairs during normal hours as well as after hours, including bringing in parts and employees to complete the job even if outside normal realm of responsibilities.
• Provide technical information required by the vendors - parts lists, sectional drawings, manuals.
• Communicate delivery and status of orders to customers.
• Assist in the preparation of job packets, including any paperwork as required by service technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• 10+ years of experience as an industrial process instrument technician working in the field required.
• Experience with Industrial/Water Treatment, Municipal Water Plants and Pump Stations, or Mining/MSHA experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge on Variable Speed Drives application and troubleshooting/repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret project drawings, electrical drawings and process control drawings.
• Effective leadership and management skills, along with cohesive team building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Solid communication skills (clear, concise), and excellent interpersonal skills in building relationships with customers, as well as direct reports and peers.
• Excellent trouble shooter in tough situations as well as handling multiple tasks with skillfulness.
• Have a satisfactory motor vehicle report as position will drive company vehicles.
• Ability to travel 20-40% across AZ, NM, and Southern CA.
• Experience estimating electrical projects preferred.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook and Word).
