Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Industrial Electrical Technician Apprentice to join the team. This apprenticeship will provide comprehensive training to become a certified industrial electrical technician over a period of up to 2 years, depending on prior experience and personal ability. Upon certification, you will transition to the 2nd shift.

This apprenticeship will provide comprehensive training to become a certified industrial electrical technician over a period of up to 2 years, depending on prior experience and personal ability. Upon certification, you will transition to the 2nd shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, you will be involved in various tasks including, but not limited to:
- Adhering to all safety policies and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Completing all necessary training, including electrical and machine safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Engaging in hands-on learning under the supervision of the Electrical Lead, including reading, observing, and participating in instructional sessions.
- Assisting with small and large projects under supervision.
- Gradually gaining the ability to work independently with minimal supervision upon certification.
- Using lifts and powered vehicles as required.
- Supporting Maintenance personnel with non-electrical tasks when necessary.

- High School diploma or GED.
- Six months of related electrical work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training from accredited institutions.
- Willingness to take electrical courses concurrently while working at [Your Company Name].
- Comfort in a manufacturing environment with high-voltage production equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to understand and execute detailed written or oral instructions.
- Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) related to electrical measurements.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics is a plus.
