Electrical Technician at Manpower

Electrical Technician - Direct Hire - York, PA 
Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm 
$25-$25/hr 
Manpower is assisting a well-known company in York, PA 
in filling a DIRECT HIRE opening for an Electrical Technician. This role is with a company that produces billions of plastic containers of all shapes & sizes, for the industrial & automotive industries each year.   
This position is responsible for wiring and troubleshooting all machinery product lines produced by the company.
Role Responsibilities and Priorities:
1. Builds electrical systems of machinery from shop packets and schematics under the supervision
of a Senior Industrial Electrician.
2. Drills and taps holes for mounting electrical components.
3. Performs various electrical calculations such as ohm's law, etc.
4. Uses tools such as volt ohm amp meters, wire strippers, and soldering iron.
5. Makes up wiring harnesses, installs conduit and pulls wires.
6. Wires electrical equipment, cabinets and other components.
7. Communicates non-conformances and opportunities for improvement when schematics and shop
packets need to be corrected.
8. Cross training and assisting in control panel assembly process as required.
9. Maintains good housekeeping and follows safety rules.
10. All other duties as assigned
