Summary Objectives:

Summary Objectives:
The Electrical Wirer is responsible for assembling and wiring electrical components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of wiring techniques and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical wiring, preferably within the semiconductor industry, and will be capable of interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install complex wiring components in semiconductor manufacturing equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and assembly.
- Inspect and verify the quality of work to ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines. Partners with engineers and other support functions on electrical related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of wiring assemblies, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly process.
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of wiring components into equipment.
- Work cross functionally to support company culture, values, such as
- Follow ISO procedures and guidelines, as well as follow proper safety protocol, including wearing appropriate PPE where designated such as gloves, safety glasses, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
- High school graduate or GED. Technical or vocational training in electrical wiring or a related field preferred.
- 2+ or years of electrical wiring or related experience.
- Understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system.
- Read and understand complex drawings/schematics and related Bills of Materials.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Proficiency with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components, hand tools, and related power equipment for wiring.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in wiring assembly including, but not limited to, point-to-point wiring, stripping wires, wire crimping, building wire harnesses and cable assemblies and soldering.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructions on documentation/ BOMs.
