Job Description
Aerotek is hiring immediately for Electricians. We are seeking skilled electricians to join our team for a long-term project. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of electrical tasks, including bending and running conduit, installing lighting packages, wiring, and roughing in apartments. This position is full time offering competitive pay!
Responsibilities
+ Bend and run conduit.
+ Install lighting packages and lighting systems.
+ Perform wiring and pull wire, including MC & BX - Romex cable.
+ Rough in apartments, including pulling Romex.
+ Work on 2400 amp service, lighting, and Lutron systems.
+ Install electrical boxes, outlets, and switches.
+ Troubleshoot electrical issues.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical work, including conduit bending and installation.
+ Experience with electrical wiring, panels, and rough in MC & BX cable.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Knowledge of electrical lighting and Lutron systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Possession of E1 or E2 license or registered apprenticeship card.
+ OSHA 10 certification.
+ Full PPE and journeyman hand tools.
Work Environment
The work is based in Rocky Hill, primarily on a multi-family construction site. Tasks include roughing in apartment work, pulling wire, and roughing in BX & MC. The working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
