Savard is hiring an Electrical Technician for work in/near Harrison, Hancock and Stone county in MS. For Job #18941.


Job Scope / duties:
The Electrical Technician is responsible for testing, inspecting, installing, repairing and maintaining
instruments and control equipment. This position updates all electrical and instrumentation diagrams,
documentation, and PLC programs in accordance with company requirements. The individual must
understand the importance of prioritization of safety, quality, and production and be willing to work
accordingly.

Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
Read and follow blue prints
Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order
Performing semi skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot motor and control systems
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Work Experience:
Must have 5 years of Electrician Journeyman or 5 years of experience of Commercial and Industrial Electrical field.

Other Requirement:
Must pass 10 panel Lab drug test
Must have updated resume with electrical experience
Must be able to travel to the mentioned counties.

Shifts/Hours: Monday - Thursday
6: 30am to 5pm

Pay: $30 plus $6 fringe DOE  
Up to $1, 440 w 40 hours/ week
