Hamilton Company is seeking Electro Mechanical Assemblers to assemble semi-automated equipment used for precision fluid measuring and operator testing. We're looking for those trained in, or have experience with, electronic/electrical machines or fine mechanism service or assembly. Electro Mechanical Assemblers will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment on industry leading equipment with cutting edge technology.
Other Electromechanical Assembler responsibilities include
- Assemble simple to sophisticated laboratory fluid handling equipment and robots.
- Use of common test equipment, including voltmeters and specific product testers.
- Work in a production environment assembling mechanical laboratory devices.
- Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions.
- Use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery.
- Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas.
- Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions.
- Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools.
- Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework.
- Proven experience with safe production standards.
- Stable work history.
- Basic math may be required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts.
- Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in assembly and testing of small electromechanical assemblies.
- Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred
