What impact you will have
As an Electro/Mechanical Field Technician Lead based in Houston, you’ll play a pivotal role in our customer support team. This hands-on role involves leading a team of technicians and support specialists to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced data center systems. You’ll oversee the daily operations, mentor your team, and support factory management when needed. If you have the expertise to manage both electrical and mechanical systems, and you thrive in dynamic environments, this is the opportunity for you.
What you’ll do
- Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical/mechanical systems in data centers.
- Diagnose and repair issues in control panels, pumps, valves, and piping systems.
- Plan and execute repair projects with minimal disruption to operations.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and propose solutions to enhance system performance.
- Assist with production tasks when not on customer service calls.
- Manage a team of field technicians and customer support reps, ensuring peak performance.
- Ensure proper coverage during peak periods.
- Fluid a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Provide high-level support and escalate issues as needed.
- Oversee daily support operations, resolving technical issues swiftly and effectively.
- Collect and report customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure the support team has the right tools and tech to excel in their roles.
