About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Manager to join our Wells Fargo Securities “Markets” COO Group that will support the Electronic Trading and Product Management organization. The individual will collaborate with the Markets Lines of Business as well as other key stakeholder groups (i.e. Business Control, Technology, Finance, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, and Legal). The role will have a focus on collaboration, strategy, and implementation of cross lines of business frameworks, as well as identification of technology and operational efficiency opportunities.
This role requires a collaborative individual capable of initiating action and managing change in a fast-paced environment as well as strong relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement. They will also have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups.
In this role, you will:
+ Develop strategic vision across all Electronic Trading and Product Business Frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency across all Markets Lines of Business.
+ Drive effective implementation, including operational processes and solutions, of business frameworks across all Markets Lines of Business in alignment with strategy.
+ Ensure cross-Markets Line of Business awareness and collaboration related to impacts to business strategy, framework execution, and remediation activities.
+ Evaluate new Cross-Asset Business Initiatives and ensure LOB awareness and engagement.
+ Provide daily support across all Electronic Trading and Product Business Frameworks (i.e. Markets Trade Execution & Connections, Electronic Trading Governance, Market Access 15c3-5, etc).
+ Ensure Business Framework management reporting is documented at the appropriate level of detail and distributed at the appropriate frequency.
+ Ensure timely escalation of issues; including potential trending of business impacts, related to Business Framework intake, changes and/or remediation activities.
+ Ensure Business Framework controls cover associated RAU risks, are documented in line with guidelines and standards, and operating effectively.
+ Establish risk assessment frameworks to facilitate impact analysis to Markets businesses and stakeholders.
+ Assist in execution of all Audits and Regulatory inquiries related to Electronic Trading and Product Business Frameworks.
+ Act as a top subject matter professional who leads highly complex, large, and cross organizational strategic initiatives with companywide impact
+ Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant challenges across multiple lines of business
+ Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, broad reaching
+ Provide vision, leadership, and industry knowledge regarding highly complex cross organizational strategic initiatives that significantly influence the company's business
+ Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of business and support groups
+ Evaluate effectiveness and provide updates to key enterprise stakeholders, leadership, and executive leadership regarding the root cause, cost or benefit, and risk evaluations
Required Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of significant and in-depth knowledge of Electronic Trading; including knowledge of trade flow mechanics and general trade lifecycle of all electronically traded products.
+ In-depth knowledge on how to structure and implement frameworks across a matrixed organization.
+ Securities industry experience, including FINRA certifications or knowledge.
+ Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
+ Previous experience in Business Management, Program Management and/or COO functions in Capital Markets
+ Experience using business knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver upstream and downstream business objectives.
+ Ability to develop operational reporting and performing data analysis.
+ Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
+ Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
+ Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to senior level management.
+ A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
Job Expectations:
+ Up to 10% travel
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
