Electronics Technician I - Scientific Research Corporation

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Assists with assembly and repair of electronics systems. Assists with the kitting of avionics modification packages.
* Participates in systems design with engineers
* Assembly and fabrication of electronics systems
* Responsible for testing and troubleshooting systems
* Assists with the collection of components for avionics system modification “kits”
* Repair electronics assemblies, cables, systems





MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:


* Two-year technical degree and zero years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Basic electronics knowledge gained through a combination of formal education and experience, including an understanding of electronic components, systems, and their interfaces
* Circuit analysis and design
* Soldering and de-soldering
* Cable harness assembly, including terminations
* Testing and measurement
* Troubleshooting

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:


* Familiarity with printed circuit boards, design, assembly, and repair

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
