Emergency Procedures Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Emergency Procedures Coordinator will be responsible for the operations and initiatives and to provide administrative oversight for Public Safety and Emergency Procedures at festivals. Additionally, this position will provide an approachable path for internal departments and partnering entities with the safest festival experience for guests, staff, and all involved on site operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement public safety and fire prevention best practices across festival sites.
- Participate in vendor and site inspections in conjunction with the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
- Coordinate public safety related initiatives with partnering entities, vendors, and staff using multiple platforms including but
not limited to virtual, in person, radio, video, etc. - Track all developing initiatives and workflows by leveraging information technology (i.e. Smartsheets, Dropbox, etc.)
- Provide information and support to the Command Post, Staff, and Public Safety Entities at the festival.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with the Incident Command System (ICS)
- Passionate about public safety
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull at least 20 lbs.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions
PREFERENCES
- Customer service, festival, or special event experience
- Activities experience
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY
- 3/1/24 - 5/2/24
- Day and Overnight shifts.
Pay Scale: $23.00
