The Employee Experience Manager will assist in the design, delivery and measurement of an exceptional employee experience through all stages of the employee lifecycle to drive culture transformation that builds engagement and a sense of belonging.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Employee Experience:
- Responsible for implementing, executing, and supporting key strategies to enhance the employee experience to include defining the employee experience journey and the moments that matter from entry to exit.
- Assist in the planning and execution of company-wide employee centric culture events and programming that are grounded in the People Strategy to enrich the employee journey and moments that matter in collaboration with Core HR.
- Establish and ensure successful, productive, collaborative partnerships with managers to bring the employee experience awareness into their processes, communications, and strategies.
- Collaborate with Core HR to develop solutions to meet employee needs that are impactful.
- Support local immigration cases for all employees.
- Offer relocation guidance and support to new hires and internal transfer employees.
Employee Relations:
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains accurate ER case documentation and tracking.
- Makes recommendations for discipline or termination.
HR Operations:
- Ensure that HR services meet the needs of the employee through every touch point in the Employee Experience Journey.
- Successfully support employees through the Pre-employment, New Hire, Separation/Termination & Referral Processes.
- Enter, route, and track Global AX contracts and vendor agreements in contract management tool. Obtain new vendor IDs, ensure that vendors are entered in SAP and Ariba, complete purchase order requests in Ariba.
- Responsible for driving a seamless HR experience for employees leveraging on-demand capabilities of the self-service resources to help employees navigate and find solutions quickly and easily.
- Partner with Core HR in L&D, Total Wellness, Total Rewards, Communications, Facilities to ensure employees are well-informed about the policies and processes.
- Serve as digital transformation champion for HR focused on automating administrative tasks and non-customer impactful.
Talent Management:
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Manage HR Cycle Processes in collaboration with Total Rewards (Merit, Promotion, Talent Review, Appraisal).
Employee Communities:
- Responsible for supporting the employee-based communities which includes Merz Aesthetics for Humanity.
Job Related Qualifications/Skills
Professional experience
Required:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as Human Resources professional, with at least 2 years of direct employee relations management.
- Experience working with cross functional teams and projects.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in pharmaceutical industry highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required:
- Demonstrated knowledge of principals relating to the practices and processes of organizational development, talent acquisition and talent management.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations relevant to employment law.
- Demonstrated history of teamwork and cross functional collaboration.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Proficient in utilizing an automated HRIS & ATS system.
- Demonstrates excellence in execution; aligns key stakeholders to decisions; highly collaborative with cross-functional partners and customers.
- Proactive, confident yet humble; dynamic and focused on driving results with a bias to action.
- Insights driven, innovative; champions breakthrough ideas and initiatives.
Education
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
