About the Job
**This is a hybrid role 3 days in office/2 days remote**
The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for enhancing the overall employee experience by developing and implementing initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment. This role involves close collaboration with the HR team to support employee development, belonging, inclusivity, and retention.
You Will be Responsible For:
Project Management & HR Operations
- Assist with HR tactical and strategic planning.
- Implement and manage special HR projects aligning with department and corporate strategy.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional, cross-collaboration, or other project teams as needed.
- Monitor HR project initiatives within the organization.
- Create project timelines for any project work.
- Participate and contribute as an active member of interdepartmental and cross-functional project teams in executing plans to meet short-term, medium-term, and long-term strategic project objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, sourcing, and contract approval for the department.
- Proactively communicate with internal and external team members to ensure all are aligned on project scope, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities
Meetings & Corporate Events
- Act as a liaison to facilitate smooth communication and cross-functional information flow.
- Assist with the coordination, planning, organizing, and execution of various gatherings, meetings, and events on-site and off-site.
- Manage vendor relationships, including caterers, audio-visual teams, decorators, and transportation providers.
- Handle event registrations, ticketing (if applicable), and manage RSVPs.
- Assist with aspects of events on the actual day(s), including setup, vendor coordination, registration management, and issue resolution.
- Prepare for unexpected situations or emergencies during events, such as medical issues, technical difficulties, or inclement weather (Risk Management).
Employee Experience
- Assist, including defining the Employee Experience Journey Map and identifying with planning and executing key strategies to enhance the employee experience including defining the Employee Experience Journey Map and the moments that matter from entry to exit.
- Assist the team with other operational tasks as assigned.
Learning & Development
- Oversee and assist with all training logistics, including catering setup/cleanup and pre- and post-field training communications.
- Assist Sales Enablement with other operational tasks as assigned.
Document Management
- Support and maintain documentation related to operational excellence, including agendas, decisions, action status reports, and timelines for assigned projects.
Time Management & Planning
- Support the planning and tracking of multiple projects, resource planning and allocation, and task delegation to accomplish project goals and objectives.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues, using escalation as necessary and communicating effectively.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with multiple departments and lead cross-functional teams to pinpoint root cause issues and implement solutions to resolve systematic problems.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop impactful business plans/strategies for implementation, along with measures of success for each proposed improvement.
All other duties as assigned
You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in an employee engagement, HR, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret employee feedback and data.
- Creative thinking to develop innovative employee engagement initiatives.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve employee concerns.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Executive presence and exceptional presentation skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and comfort with large variety of online meeting tools and AV equipment.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
