About the Job
An iMPact Business Group client in the Financial Services industry is seeking to hire an Empower (Black Knight/Dark Matter) loan origination system (LOS) Application Support Analyst.
*** This position does NOT currently allow for Visa Sponsorship ***
This firm is growing and is routinely adding staff to their Application Support team.
This firm currently allows their Technology Staff to work full-remote, with just periodic travel to the Corporate HQ in Michigan if/when needed.
This position will provide ongoing Application and User support for the Empower Loan Origination System.
Duties:
- Provide technical/user support for the Empower Loan Origination System (Black Knight/Dark Matter - Vendor)
- Consult with Empower users to help them implement changes and best practices
- Support User inquiries to resolve issues and guide users through troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technical and User)
- Perform system maintenance/updates
- Implement configuration changes where needed
- Develop and maintain documentation
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with vendors/third-party service providers to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in testing activities where needed (UAT), (SIT), and related

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of Empower Loan Origination System support (Technical and User support)
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Consultative approach with Loan Origination users
- Familiarity with Mortgage Loan Origination functional processes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborative work style for a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge/experience with Agile/Scrum concepts
