Job Duties -

The Endpoint Security Specialist will deploy, configure, and manage Tanium modules across enterprise environments. Responsibilities include managing vulnerability assessments, conducting endpoint compliance checks, and troubleshooting endpoint security incidents. The role also involves generating reports and metrics to ensure security and compliance requirements are met.

Job Requirements -

3+ years of experience with Tanium implementation and module management (Deploy, Patch, Comply)

2+ years in enterprise vulnerability management and endpoint security processes

Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for endpoint troubleshooting

Ability to manage endpoint compliance and respond to security incidents

strong collaboration and communication skills for coordinating with business and technical teams

Desired Skills & Experience -

Familiarity with compliance frameworks like FISMA, SAS-70, SSAE-16, PCI, SOX, Common Criteria, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27000 series or other compliance regulations

Experience in integrating Tanium with other security platforms

Knowledge of multi-platform environments (Windows, Linux)

strong analytical skills for proactive security management and incident response

Security Framework Familiarity: Experience with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS controls to support vulnerability management alignment with industry standards.

Automation: Familiarity with automated deployment and update mechanisms, ideally within Tanium or similar tools, to streamline endpoint management processes.

Multi-Platform Knowledge: Experience in managing endpoint security across Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.

Data Analysis: strong analytical skills for identifying trends and developing insights from security and compliance data.

Project Coordination: Ability to assist in coordinating security initiatives or projects, working with cross-functional teams.

Technical Writing: Skill in documenting security protocols, configurations, and compliance reports clearly and concisely.

Desired Certifications:

Tanium Certified Operator

CompTIA Security+ or CYSA+

Certified Vulnerability Assessor (CVA)
