Energy Efficiency Data Analytics Co-Op - Novelis Manufacturing Excellence

The Novelis Kennesaw team is seeking an Energy Data Co-op . The person in this role will report to the Senior Manager – Energy Consumption Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering insights from plant consumptions and using specific tools for guidance on the way forward to save energy, reducing Carbon Foot print. This position is strategic aligned with Novelis initiative of Vision 3x30 and our public commitment. This co-op will begin in May 2025 and will continue until December 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with main plants to get energy consumption, understanding consumption profiles and with suppliers to design initiatives to reduce the consumption.
• Build integrated program plans including schedule, communications plan, and applicable project management
• Summarize good initiatives implemented and best practices sharing
• Interface with R&D team for long-term view solution.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current student enrolled in an engineering program (energy, mechanical, electrical, automation), must be atleast a sophomore

Preferred Qualifications:

• PowerBI and advanced Excel advanced
• Minimum understanding of ISO 50001 and IPVMP
